My new Try the World box finally arrived–who hoo! It’s such a tease seeing some of the ads and pictures online, wondering if that’s the next one I’m getting or if it’s just a promo– it’s been both so I never know!
I had my fingers crossed the June box would be Sweden. The Nordic countries are very high on my list of places to visit, and I really hope we can go in the next couple of years.
I’ve been to Denmark, but Norway, Sweden and Finland would all be brand new experiences for me. I’ve read so much about their beauty and expansive, unoccupied regions. I would love to see the Northern Lights.
I think it would be incredible to travel them by both sea and rail–the adventures are endless, and I can’t wait to explore them some day.
In the meantime, I can’t wait to enjoy some of the tastes of Sweden. My box has eight treats and recipes to create two unique Swedish experiences:
- The Smorgasbord: A traditional Swedish buffet that originated in the 18th century
- Fika: The Swedish coffee break, which occurs at least once a day and includes coffee and pastries
You know me–I’m up for both of these any time!
I’m so excited for my new box and can’t wait to try what’s inside!
Want to see some of the other boxes I received? Check them out!
