Favorite Travel Quotes: Part II

With summer vacations taking over my office as well as my friends and family, I’ve been trying to make time to plan my own weekend get-away to Chicago, which is fast approaching. It seems like it’s been so long since my last trip, so it’s been exciting getting back into planning mode for this one.

However, as is usually the case, preparing for a trip gets me into a much broader mental state, thinking about past travels and experiences and looking forward to those I know are in store. I like to think my outlook has improved some over the years from just wanting to see and experience as much as possible to really taking time to enjoy the journey and the people I share it with. Hopefully I continue to become less of a tourist and more of a traveler.

That mentality has inspired a new set of travel quotes that seem appropriate for where I am and where I’m headed.
